Practical and chic, these Shorts are made from water-repellent Italian ripstop, crafted by the experts at Olmetex, a world-renowned mill established in 1954 in Italy’s Como region. Ripstop is a military innovation, often used in uniforms and parachutes — it’s woven using a special technique that creates a fine crosshatch pattern, making it both lightweight and incredibly resistant to tearing. They’re printed with a unique, tie-dye oil emulsion technique that (unsurprisingly) resembles oil on water, or a heat map. They’re comfortable, too, with a roomy 9” inseam, elastic drawstring waist and easy fit. One extra-special design detail: the “hidden” patch pockets, beneath the cargo pockets.

• Dry clean or machine wash separately, inside out, at no more than 30°C on delicate. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry. Cool iron inside out if needed.
